So, Kite, the admin of Stranger, a realistic wolf RP, gave me permission to quote this from her site, as long as full credit was given.

There are a few topics that you can write about and mention in just about every post you make! Remember, describe, describe, describe! You are telling a story, set the image for your fellow role player!
Where is your character? - what is the scene your character is set in? Are they in the forest, the snow, the mountains, by a lake, a river? Is it morning, night, midday? Whats the weather like? How is this impacting your character?
What is your character feeling? - are they sad, happy, envious, angry, confused, scared, content? Are they injured, hungry, thirsty, lonely, sleepy?
What can they hear, smell, touch, see? - the senses are most valuable, as wolves have excellent control over their senses and rely on them heavily.
Why is your character here? - are they looking for something, someone? Do they even know where they are and their purpose for being where they are?
What is your character thinking? - are they talking to themselves in their head? Are they hearing the voice of a past lover, family member, rival or enemy? Are the experiencing a flash back or a memory? How is this impacting them?
What is your character doing? - are they running, sleeping, hunting, searching or playing? Think about the small details, like how their tail moves, their ears twitch, and their fur along their spines rises and falls depending on their emotions.
