The wolves of this territory are usually only found if they want to be. They are elusive, and learn early on every nook and cranny of their densely wooded territory. They excel at stealthy activities like spying, and often find out information much sooner than other packs. However, they fiercely guard this intelligence and rarely give anyone the dirt on another pack or wolf. Secretive and mysterious, there is very little known by others about them. Tread carefully in your dealings with them. They consider themselves 'protectors of eternity' and are usually sideline observers to the events around them, but if they believe that something important to history is being threatened, they will step in. For this they are often seen as somewhat eccentric by other packs and are usually regarded with an odd mix of respect and occasionally fear, for they make it their mission to eliminate anyone who threatens the correct flow of history. This pack accepts anyone who can carry out their pack's 'mission', and normals and mutants are treated equally. Personality wise, they tend to be stoic and apathetic in their behavior towards outsiders, but their community is tight knit, though it is never impossible for there to be an exception to the rule, though these are usually driven out or leave on their own eventually. All members take an oath to keep the pack's secrets hidden from outsiders. There's a reason why wolves tend to avoid this territory if possible, despite it's eerie beauty. The woods here are extremely thick, and trying to enter this part is like figuring out a maze, unless of course a pack member is guiding you. Certain parts have a light fog during the early morning, and any with claustrophobia should avoid this forest section like the plague. Despite this, prey is plentiful because of the sheer lack of predators here besides the pack. However, most of their diet consists of small mammals and birds, and the only reliable source of larger food is a small herd of deer that reside near the river. The South-Western corner of the land is much more friendly, as it is a part of a large river that flows off of the mountains to the north. While the river doesn't hold anything that the pack considers a staple part of their diet, the Ki̱demónes thrive on the clean water, which is probably from a spring somewhere in the mountains. A few small fish can be spotted here and there, but they are normally not worth the effort it takes to capture one.

"I swear to uphold the Guardian's Code, and defend it's dignity at all times. I will never reveal the pack's secrets, and will carry them to my grave. My loyalties are first to the Lord and his family. I will become a keeper of the past, an observer of the present, and a guardian of the future." All wolves who either turn two years of age in the pack or join the pack (whichever is the latter) are required to take this oath, or leave the pack. If the oath is taken, then the oath taker will become privy to all of the intelligence/info gathered by the pack. "I, (position, then character name ex. Lord Deuce), hereby relinquish my position and my membership. I, despite no longer being a member, swear to still uphold the vow of taking the pack's secrets to the grave."This oath is taken by those who wish to leave the pack, and replaces the other oath. [note: these are IC rules, so feel free to break them, but be prepared for IC consequences for your wolf] I. THE LORD/ALPHA'S WORD IS EQUAL, IF NOT HIGHER THAN THE LAW. II. ONLY THE LORD MAY APPOINT TO AND RELIEVE WOLVES OF A COUNCIL POSITION. III. ONLY THE LORD, THE ROYAL FAMILY, AND COUNCIL MEMBERS MAY APPOINT WOLVES TO OTHER POSITIONS IN THE GENERAL SOCIETY. IV.UNLESS INCAPACITATED, ALL MUST PARTICIPATE IN PACK HUNTS AND MEETINGS. V. YOU MAY ONLY TAKE A MATE WITHIN THE PACK. OUTSIDE RELATIONSHIPS OF A ROMANTIC MANNER ARE FORBIDDEN WHILE ONE IS A PACK MEMBER. VI.PERMISSION TO HAVE PUPS MUST BE OBTAINED FROM THE LORD, LEST YOU, YOUR MATE, AND YOUR UNBORN PUPS BE EXILED. VII.SETTLING DISPUTES VIOLENTLY IS FROWNED UPON, ALTHOUGH IT IS ALLOWED. VII.THE LORD ALWAYS DECIDES THE PUNISHMENT FOR THE BREAKING OF THE CODE, UNLESS HE DECIDES OTHERWISE OR IS UNABLE TO FOR ANY REASON. Currently, by decree of Lord Deuce, the natural succession will be like so: 1ST IN LINE: LORD'S OLDEST LEGITIMATE CHILD (Crown Prince/ss) <REST OF ROYAL CHILDREN IN LINE BY AGE, REGARDLESS OF LEGITIMACY> IN THE CASE WHERE NONE OF THE ROYAL FAMILY ARE ABLE TO BECOME LORD/LADY, SUCCESSION IS THEN DETERMINED BY RANK. THE FOLLOWING AND RELATED SITUATIONS ARE CONSIDERED 'UNNATURAL SUCCESSIONS': COUP D'ETAT VICTORY VIA CHALLENGE ETC.

LORD/LADY: Equivalent to an alpha. The lord/lady holds the ultimate power, though he/she must be prepared to face the consequences that misuse of this power brings. LORD/LADY CONSORT: The lord/lady's mate. Though they don't hold very much power, they often influence the decisions of the lord/lady. Only this wolf may father/give birth to a crown prince/ss. CROWN PRINCE/SS: The lord/lady's primary successor. This wolf must be the oldest child of the lord/lady and their consort. They are trained from birth to take their father/mother's place. ROYAL CHILDREN: All of the lord/lady's children, regardless of legitimacy. While all of them are the most likely successors of the lord/lady, illegitimate children tend to be held in a lower regard than their legitimate counterparts. HEAD OF THE COUNCIL: Somewhat equivalent to a Beta. This wolf is usually the lord/lady's most trusted pack member, and are often very close with the ruler. They usually have the most power right after the ruler, though sometimes the Crown Prince/ss may hold slightly higher power. COUNCIL MEMBERS: While they are only elected by the lord, these wolves tend to be respected, though not necessarily well liked. They hold a moderate amount of power within the pack, depending on their reputation and popularity among other pack embers. ELDERS: Elders are the oldest wolves in the pack, usually ranging from around eight years and older. While they hold little actual power, their opinion is usually sought after, for they have experienced the most. They are, however, considered to be a special part of the council. HEAD OF ESPIONAGE: Picked for his/her ability to blend in the shadows, maneuver suavely through politics, and collecting data, this wolf is often dark in coloring, and quite intelligent. However, a good grasp on etiquette and politics is extremely important for this position. This wolf is in charge of infiltrating other packs, providing the lord with the dirt on other wolves and packs, and may occasionally assist the Head of Combat with stealth attacks. These wolves may also be called upon to quietly 'erase' the existence of someone. HEAD OF COMBAT: This wolf tends to be great at the art of combat. While size is not really an issue, wolves with larger and stockier builds are usually seen as most suitable for this position. In addition, the general must have charisma and a knack for strategics. This wolf plans any battles the pack may have with the lord/lady, and usually leads the pack into battle.
HEAD OF HUNTING: Agile and quick, this wolf leads the pack hunt alongside Lord Deuce. A thorough understanding of prey animal behavior and herbs is a must for the Huntswulf, and he/she may be called upon to heal a wounded wolf, should the need arise. This wolf is usually in charge of organizing pack hunts and makes sure that the pups are kept well fed.
HEAD OF LORE: An entertainer of sorts, this wolf keeps the history of the pack alive and passes it down to the next generation. This wolf tends to be unusually gifted in artistic ways, and has to be particularly creative to keep the pack's young minds entertained.
APPRENTICES: These are usually adolescents who are selected as pups for displaying prowess for one of the four head's professions. While there may be more than one apprentice for a head, only one can ultimately be chosen as his/her master's heir. The apprentices who are not chosen will simply return to being Guardians.
GUARDIANS: The regular pack members.
